Kees has been a Vancouver Island artisan for over 20 years. His work reflects his philosophy that function can be expressed in beauty – “Art that Works”, and is designed and created in his home studio. A European background and love for elegant simplicity is evident in the clean, organic lines of his designs.

Steen was born in Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He has always worked with his hands and has a fine line and gentle curve. Turning wood on a lathe is his passion. Email: sbhjort2@gmail.com
